Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Shehriar Ahmad Awan, a sole proprietor in Pakistan (“we”, “us”), who runs Serpint, and cover your use of Serpint. By creating an account you accept them. If you use Serpint for a company, you accept them for that company.

Your account

• You need a verified email address. Keep your login safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account.
• Each workspace has owners, admins and members. Owners and admins manage the team, billing and settings.

Free trial

The free trial lasts 7 days, on one site, without a card, with smaller allowances than the paid plans. If it ends without a plan, the workspace and its data are deleted 30 days later.

Plans and payment

• Plans are billed monthly, or yearly with 2 months free. Add-ons are billed monthly with your plan. Prices are on our pricing page and don’t include taxes unless stated.
• Each plan has limits. Monthly allowances start again on the 1st of each month, and unused amounts don’t carry over. When you reach a limit, that feature pauses until the next month, or until you add more.
• If a lookup or AI step fails, its credit is returned.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then stops; if a plan isn’t renewed, the same applies. Payments aren’t refunded, including for partly used months or years, except where the law requires it. The free trial is there so you can try Serpint before you pay.
• We may change prices; we’ll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you.

Using Serpint fairly

Please don’t:

• use Serpint to break the law or anyone’s rights
• audit or crawl sites in a way meant to overload or harm them
• try to get around plan limits, share one account between separate businesses, or resell Serpint or its data as your own service
• scrape the app, copy it in bulk, or try to break its security

We may suspend an account that does, and we’ll tell you why.

Your content

What you put into Serpint, and the briefs, grades and articles it produces for you, are yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. You’re responsible for having the right to use what you upload.

AI and data estimates

• Briefs, grades, fact-checks and articles are produced with AI. They can be wrong. Review them before you publish; a person on your side approves every article.
• Search volumes, traffic estimates, difficulty and click prices are estimates, not exact counts.
• We can’t guarantee rankings, traffic or any other result from search engines or AI assistants.

Other services

Some features use other services, such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics, which have their own terms. We aren’t responsible for changes those services make.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Serpint available and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. We improve the product all the time; if we remove something important you pay for, we’ll tell you in advance.

Ending your account

You can stop using Serpint at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may end an account that breaks these terms. Before your data is deleted, you can ask for an export.

Liability

Serpint is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost rankings, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before the change applies.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts at Islamabad decide any dispute about them. Questions about them go to hello@serpint.com.
